Terms and conditions

§ 1 Scope

These terms apply to contracts on the use of SnapShare between [PLACEHOLDER: provider (name and address as in the imprint)] and its customers.

§ 2 Services

SnapShare provides a private online gallery per booked event, into which guests upload photos and videos. The scope of features depends on the booked plan (see pricing).

§ 4 Prices and payment

The price stated at the time of order applies as a one-time payment per event. Under § 19 UStG (German VAT Act), no VAT is charged. Payment term: [PLACEHOLDER: Payment term]

§ 5 Term, retention and deletion

An event's media is stored for 12 months on the Standard plan and 24 months on the Pro plan from activation. An extension of 12 months at a time can be booked. The customer receives reminders by email before expiry. After expiry and a 14-day grace period, all of the event's media is deleted. The customer is responsible for their own backup copies (e.g. via ZIP download).

§ 6 Availability

We aim for uninterrupted operation, but no particular availability is guaranteed. We announce maintenance work where possible. [PLACEHOLDER: Have the availability wording reviewed]

§ 7 Customer obligations

The customer ensures that they and their guests hold the necessary rights to the uploaded content and that the rights of people shown are respected. Unlawful content is prohibited; we may remove such content and suspend the event.
